We are very pleased at the construction progress to date with our completion date still expected to be the end of 2009.  At present, finishing work has begun on some of the floors as well as the installation of air conditioners, electrical and plumbing works being completed in the majority of units. 

The contractor will begin handing over floors to the developer in the next 4 – 5 months so that the necessary fittings and furniture can be installed in the most efficient manner possible.  

Despite the current economic climate, sales are progressing smoothly and we are confident that this trend will continue as the project moves closer to completion.  The Ocean Two hotel will open in the first quarter of 2010, regardless of the number of units sold as contracting with tour operators has already begun for this project which only emphasizes the developer’s assurance that the building will be completed in the timeframe promised.

Showroom Now Open!

Our showroom is now open to the public!We are located at the end of St.Lawrence Gap oppositethe Dover Mini Mart and Cafe Jungles in the Four Aces complex.

The showroom is open Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am – 1pm.

The showroom includes a scale model of the entire development, style boards which allow purchasers to see the 2 furniture package options as well as artistic sketches of the public areas on the property.  However, the highlight of the showroom is our model residence.  We have built and fully outfitted a one bedroom residence to give you the opportunity to see, feel and touch what an Ocean Two residence will offer.

 Ocean Two kitchens are modern and fully equipped with 5 stainless steel appliances (fridge, stovetop, microwave, dishawasher and washer/dryer, Italian cupboards andgranite countertops.  The layout of our kitchens allows for unobstructed views of the ocean which needless to say, should be the centrepiece of any home in Barbados.

At the end of a long day of sea and sun, tuck in under luxurious, 400 thread count bedding!  Turn on the air-conditioning or ceiling fan, flat screen TV or play music on your iPOD docking station and forget that you ever have to get up!

We have great news for our potential purchasers!

 

After lengthy discussions with our industry partners and advisors, we have decided to amend the ownership structure of Ocean Two to be more flexible and accommodate a wider spectrum of buyers.  As such, we have developed 2 purchase options:

 

With immediate effect, Ocean Two will be available for purchase on a freehold basis with no obligation to enter the Rental Program.

 

Alternatively, for purchasers interested in Ocean Two from an investment perspective, we will still offer the Rental Program and run the rooms within the program as a 4 star hotel.  The only stipulation with regards to the Rental Program as well as for Interval International Exchange Program is that the residence must be furnished with the furniture packages provided by the developer.

 

Interval International is a premier, condo exchange provider that has teamed up with Ocean Two to provide our clients with an additional benefit of owning at Ocean Two.

 

In addition, through negotiations with many of our suppliers, we have been able to achieve lower cost of goods and materials and have passed these savings on to the buyer.  As a result, Ocean Two has been able to lower the price on a variety of units to assist UK, European and Canadian purchasers whose currencies have devalued relative to the US dollar.

 

Due to the stage of construction and the opening of Ocean Two scheduled for March 2009, we have developed a new payment schedule.  Reservations Deposits are now US$5,000 for a 1 bedroom residence and US$10,000 for a 2 bedroom residence.  All deposits are refundable.

 

 We are currently on the 7th floor of Ocean Two and the roof will be poured next week.  We are still ahead of construction schedule and can promise all potential purchasers that we will complete the building and open in the first quarter of 2010.

Ocean Two – Paradise Realized.

The slogan for Barbados for many years has been, “Just Beyond Your Imagination”.  At Ocean Two, we believe we have just what it takes to make this dream, your reality.

We are currently on our 4th floor and the 5th floor is slated to begin in 2 weeks.  The beach continues to grow daily as a result of nature and tides.  We have extended its growth even further due to sand that was brought in specially for the project with many more loads expected to truly create that magical beachfront setting that we promise.

As Ocean Two is a condo-hotel, it is critical for you, our prospective purchasers, to be aware that we are currently promoting Ocean Two to tour operators, travel agents and the travel industry as a whole to ensure that when we open for hotel business in early 2010, your hotel is providing you with rental returns.  In conjunction with other marketing and advertising, senior management will be attending 3 major travel shows in the upcoming 6 months to promote Ocean Two hotel.
