On behalf of all of us at Ocean Hotels, we extend wishes of well being to you and your families during these unprecedented times; now more than ever, the safety and health of our valued guests and precious staff are of paramount importance.
 
Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and the current restrictions on air travel around the world, we have found it necessary to extend the suspension of our business operations in all three of our Ocean Hotel properties - Ocean Two Resort and Residences, Sea Breeze Beach House and South Beach Hotel - until June 30th 2020.
 
To ensure that we can continue to respond to any questions or concerns that you may have, a core team of reservations and office staff will be available by email should you need to contact us. Please do not hesitate to reach out.
 
We take this opportunity to send a heartfelt message of care and concern to all who are affected directly and indirectly by the situation. Our region and our island are strong and resilient and we can say with certainty that we will be back, better and stronger than before.

As restrictions related to movement and travel are eased around the world, there is consensus that a "new normal" will prevail across all facets of our lives and we are, therefore, actively working on developing new and enhanced health and safety standards and protocols across all aspects of our operations.
 
The new protocols will affect all departments and will focus on the areas of cleanliness, hygiene and physical distancing. Our intent is that when you walk through the doors of our hotels, our commitment to your health and safety is immediately evident, and you are confident that it is our priority. It's equally important to us that our staff and their families also feel safeguarded as they serve our guests.
 
These new protocols will include enhancing our cleaning and sanitizing routines, introducing new sanitizing equipment, and requiring that all surfaces are wiped regularly with hi-grade disinfectants. There will be a particular focus on all 'touch' points, and we'll be installing more hand sanitizing stations around the hotel.
 
We'll be introducing new physical distancing protocols, such as rearranging furniture in the lobby and increasing distances between the tables in the restaurants and between the sun loungers to allow everyone more space. From luggage handling on arrival to check out procedures, we'll be looking at ways to ensure your health and safety while still offering the warm, friendly Bajan welcome and care that our hotels are renowned.
 
During this downtime, we've kept engaged with our staff offering support and advice, and also various training at all levels, from professional development to technical skills. When we restart, our teams will not only be refreshed and ready, but also trained and equipped to implement our new protocols and procedures to offer an even higher level of service.
 
Time is an opportunity that we rarely have, and we wanted to use it wisely to make sure we're prepared to welcome you to a safe, clean and friendly hotel when you are ready to travel again.
